This workshop series is recommended for teachers and others who want to use the middle-grade CryptoClub curriculum to teach cryptography and mathematics in afterschool and enrichment programs. CryptoClub leaders need not be mathematics teachers—just enthusiastic about math. No prior cryptography experience is required.
Learn basic ciphers, games and activities to get a CryptoClub program started at your school or afterschool program.
Return to learn the second half of the program and to share your experiences with other club leaders.
The cost for the two-part series is $100.00, which includes meals and the CryptoClub Cipher Handbook and Leader Manual.
Note: The cost to implement the CryptoClub curriculum typically includes $12 per student book (purchased separately).
Participants should bring a laptop computer.
