Who is this for

These sessions are recommended for teachers or math coaches from a school district that will play a role in delivery of the Everyday Mathematics 4 professional development to their staff. Participants should have experience in delivering professional development. Note that this is intended for leadership teams that have intentions of providing professional development at district or school level.

What it is

The Level 2 PD Leader Academy will support school and district math leaders in preparing to deliver experienced user professional development for the fourth edition of Everyday Mathematics. Participants will deepen their understanding of foundational ideas in Everyday Mathematics curriculum and the CCSS-M, and explore and discuss professional development techniques and resources intended to support teachers beyond their first year of implementing Everyday Mathematics 4. Participants will receive professional development outlines and resources that can be readily adapted for use in their own context.
