These sessions are recommended for teachers or math coaches from a school district that will play a role in delivery of Everyday Mathematics 4 professional development to their staff. Participants should have experience in delivering professional development. Note that this is intended for school leadership staff with intentions to provide professional development at a district or school level.
The Level 1 Professional Development Leader Academy will support school and district math leaders in preparing to deliver beginner professional development for the fourth edition of Everyday Mathematics. Participants will hear from authors about foundational ideas in Everyday Mathematics 4, explore and discuss professional development techniques and resources, and become familiar with the Everyday Mathematics 4 Initial Training Modules. Participants will receive professional development outlines and resources that can be readily adapted for use in their own context.
